The other day I was on Facebook going through the statuses of some of the young girls I had mentored before I left my hometown, Paducah, KY. Nearly ten years has passed and the little girls who followed my every move are now beautiful 20 somethings with a host of issues. At 28 I have made my share of stupid mistakes so I thought I'd dedicate the next 365 days to empowering all my little sisters not to make the same dumb mistakes I did.
Baby out of wedlock. CHECK
Putting up with disrespect from men. CHECK
Priorities out of order.CHECK CHECK
I had all the drama and I have a the T-shirt (and the baby) to prove it. Each day starting on Jan 1, 2010, I have pledge to give all those who will listen MYtooSesne so that hopefully some young girl can avoid the pitfalls I had to endure. This blog is just what it says.... MYtooSense meaning its my opinion from my perspective based on my journey with men, God, friends, and life in general. Take this ride with me...it should be fun.
